Having joined England Golf just over a year ago in May 2017, Hayley began working as Warwickshire’s Club Support Officer, working with the county’s 48 clubs. In June 2018 Hayley expanded her role to also cover Derbyshire and Leicestershire & Rutland.
Prior to working at England Golf, Hayley worked as a Sport Development Assistant at CSW Sport, a County Sport Partnership, a job she secured after completing a bachelor’s degree in Sport Development and Coaching at the University of Worcester in 2015.

Hayley is a keen golfer starting the game at the age of 8 and now plays her golf at Kings Norton Golf Club in Birmingham. She has a handicap of 6 which has allowed her to enjoy county golf as a member of the Worcestershire Ladies Team. Her dream of reducing her handicap to scratch and playing her first round under par continues.
Best moment in golf:
My best moment in golf would be my first ever hole in one whilst playing in a friendly county match, a few years ago now. From memory is was roughly a 140 yard Par 3, however slightly embarrassingly I fatted 7 iron.
My dream fourball would be:
- Rickie Fowler
- Michelle Wie
- Phil Mickleson (Interesting fact back in 2002 when the Ryder Cup was held at The Belfry, Phil Mickleson threw me one of his golf balls during one of the practice days).
The key to increasing membership isn’t just about recruiting new members, remember to value the ones you have as they will be your biggest advocates.
Reward and incentivise your members and show them you value their loyalty and support of your club.

“I am looking forward to this new challenge ahead and improving my knowledge allowing me to provide better support to clubs across these three counties.
Since taking over from Sophie back in June, I have been enjoying visiting new clubs and continuing the great work Sophie had been doing. Now we are getting closer to the end of the 2018 season, I am looking at meeting with clubs to discuss winter planning, so we can hit the ground running when the 2019 season begins.
If your club is interested in working with me, please do not hesitate to get in contact and I will be more than happy to come and work with you!”
