The team at Forest Hill Golf Club in North West Leicestershire have been one of busiest in the region during and post-lockdown too.

The club have been putting the finishing touches to their new ‘V Lounge’ bar/restaurant area and completing a major transformation to the driving range, all part of a £2 million investment to the club by their new owners.

This stunning looking bar area is now the centrepiece to the clubhouse with seating on all sides and easy access to the large outdoor patio area. More space now to serve a range of beers and guest ales with a good gin selection too guaranteed. The new restaurant to go alongside the bar is also now fully open for business.

MG visited the new driving range in July, which is fully open now and attracting many visitors. TopTracer features on 15 of the bays with a further four to follow soon. All bays are heated and have Sky TV access. All of the bays have an incredibly generous amount of space around them to enjoy the experience, making it by far the most spacious TopTracer range we have ever seen.

A cafe area on entrance provide food and drink to all bays and there is also a very spaciuos teaching bay. There are two exclusive areas – the Diamond and Platinum Suites which can be hired privately for up to 12 people, playing or watching.

Two Golfzon simulator bays are set to join the line up soon and as mentioned earlier the set up has gathered a lot of local interest and most evenings are  packed out with golfers of all experiences – a job very well done.

Attention is also being paid to the 18 hole golf course – three new tees have been built with two more on the horizon, a new drainage system will be put in place to boost the winter playing conditions and a further £100K has been spent on new course machinery.
