All being well we’ll be able to resume a full playing event schedule in 2021, and our biggest one of all, the MG Society Championships heads to one of Worcestershire’s finest on Friday September 10th.
Gaudet Luce Golf Club celebrated 25 years of existence in 2020 as best they could. A steadily rising star in the Midlands golfing collection with a fast maturing 18 hole Phoenix course, excellent practice facilities and well renowned hospitality too. It’s no wonder it has become a very popular society location, now we’re going to gather 20+ of our local groups together in fourballs on the day to see who comes out on top this year.

2020’s MG Society Championships took place in between lockdowns at Druids Heath GC on Sept 11th. We welcomed our regular groups who come along to compete with us year on year plus a number of new societies too, we hope to continue the mixture this year at Gaudet.
Among then all it was a familiar bunch of lads who lifted the shiny glass trophy, the Bagot Arms GS (pictured) from Sutton Coldfield secured their second MG Society Championship title at Druids Heath, and they’ll be back to defend the trophy this September as well, looking for the hat-trick.
An extra incentive – For this year onwards we’ll be introducing an individual element to proceedings. All scores will be recorded and the top golfer on the day from whichever group he or she belongs too will become our individual society champion golfer of the year, a new trophy is to be awarded.
