ABOUT THE VENUES
Designed by the legendary James Braid and set amongst an unspoilt countryside landscape of enviable peace and quiet, The Herefordshire GC is a rural treat. The newly refurbished clubhouse stands in an elevated position, overlooking the golf course that winds away into the distance, through woods, hollows and over the gentle rises with a nature filled treat guaranteed around every corner.
Kington Golf Club probably needs a lesser introduction, famous for being England’s highest located golf course. You’re already more or less on top of Bradnor Hill when you get here, so the car takes away any heavy walking duties. Instead it’s more of a gently undulating stroll among heathland surrounds where nature roams free and the views are simply spectacular on a clear day.
