SchoolsGolf is dedicated to the growth and development of all players across the UK—irrespective of educational background or ability—through tournaments and coaching camps.
We are creating the most diverse and inclusive national junior golf environment where children can compete and develop as an individual and for their school.
Each camp provides a comprehensive, structured program for every level of the game. Not only will we there be the individualised coaching surrounding long and short games, there will be work on course management, visualisation, and strength and conditioning. As well as the opportunity to play championship courses.
Golf has seen an exponential rise in popularity over the last few years. As the demand for golf coaching and to play competitively has risen, the opportunities for young players have contracted. We offer the chance for all children to represent their school—as they are able to do in a multitude of other sports—and have developed coaching golf camps that will take place during the holidays.
Golf is a sport that provides those that take part with an opportunity to learn about themselves whilst competing in a safe and enjoyable environment. For too long, young golfers have found it difficult to participate and compete. We at SchoolsGolf are looking to change that for all young people who wish to create life long memories in the sport.
Our tournaments will provide junior golfers with an opportunity to demonstrate their talent, test and develop their resilience, and learn lessons that will serve them as people in the future. The tournaments will create an inspirational, positive and safe environment for all of those involved.
There will be a minimum World Handicap System for boys and girls of 26 and there will be prizes for the best individual stableford score, as well as the best three scores to count from each school to give the team rankings. There will also be spot prizes for longest drive and nearest the pin. The competitions are designed to deliver unique and highly competitive tournament experiences at Championship venues that feature in England and UK top 100 course.
At each tournament there will be full access to all practice facilities at our highly prestigious host venues. We will also provide food in the clubhouse for every participant that takes part following their round. We are delighted to announce that all prizes will be provided by our principle partners at Mizuno and SpeedOne Sports. This will be £50 and £25 vouchers for the top two participants based on Stableford Score as well as a trophy for the school with the highest scores from their best three players.
Each camp provides a comprehensive, structured program for every level of the game. Not only will we there be the individualised coaching surrounding long and short games, there will be work on course management, visualisation, and strength and conditioning.
