I left school and went and studied a HND in sport at Duchy College in Cornwall which had links to St Mellion GC where we did small bits of greenkeeping and I loved it.

I then moved back to Leicester and took the job as an assistant at Ullesthorpe GC before being made Deputy 2 years later.

I worked there for a 12 years completing all my qualifications and helping to oversee the recent changes to the course.

Then in Feb 2018 I started in my current roll as Head Greenkeeper at Rugby GC, I was also fortunate to work at Wentworth alongside the green staff there getting the course prepared for the week of the BMW PGA Championship in 2018 as well.

I’ve been in my current roll as HGK at Rugby GC since Feb 2018, I have 3 members of staff working alongside myself including a Deputy, 1st assistant and an apprentice.
