The Championship Golf Course
Comprising a front nine, set around an impressive lake and waterways complex that not only offers a golfing challenge but that is also home to a considerable amount of wildlife.
The back nine offers a real challenge with mature trees strategically placed to make it a true parkland course. In recent times, owner Alan Hardy has transformed what was an already wonderful golf course into a truly magnificent one.
New tees, further strategically placed trees and water features have not only upped the beauty of this already stunning course but also added to the challenge for golfers of all abilities.
Beautifully kept fairways, flawless greens and a putting course to hone your skills are the hallmarks of this much-loved venue – one that now attracts golfers from far afield.
The Signature Golf Course
Originally partially designed by golfing legend Peter Alliss, The Signature was heavily revised in 2016, adding attractive hedgerows and undulating fairways with large greens and water features.
With so many challenging facets, a stunning lake and abundance of aquatic and birdlife, a round on this course is as relaxing to walk through as it is rewarding to play.
The exciting new 3rd hole has been altered beyond recognition. The transformation includes part of the fairway being remodelled into a lake with the water adjoining to the surrounds of the tee – so be prepared for a drive over water!
For those that just want to lay up, an extension to the fairway has been added either side of the new lake, underlining the stunning appearance of this new feature.
The 18th hole which once was the 9th and a long slog of a par 4, is now a beautifully thought out par 5 with a meandering stream at driving distance. Your approach shot to the green is over water to a fantastic island green; a hole you will never forget! One to reflect on in the 19th, perhaps?
Lakeview Restaurant and Clubhouse
