Established in 1989 (now 33 years old) by a group of golf and beer loving members of the Castle Vale Residents Club in Birmingham.

Castle Vale Golf Society is a very friendly, welcoming Saturday golf society who play seven venues, once a month from April to October, including one weekend away.  We enjoy our golf (all standards and styles) and have some great laughs over a few drinks after the round to discuss the highs and lows of the day.

Currently we have 16 members and usually take around four guests on top of this to most outings. Our emblem depicts the Spitfires built at and flown out of Castle Bromwich Aerodrome during WW2.  Our members come from all over the West Midlands, from Brum, Staffordshire, Worcester, and on occasions guests have been known to travel down from Bonnie Scotland and over from Tenerife to join us. So we must be doing something right!

During the 2022 season we have some great courses to play, The Welcombe at Stratford, The Astbury at Bridgnorth, Uttoxeter Golf Club, Stoneleigh Deer Park, Telford Golf Resort and The Chase at Cannock. Plus a great weekend away to look forward to in Swansea playing at Clyne and Langland Bay GCs….should be awesome!

We are always looking for new members, so if you’re interested, find us on Facebook or call Paul on 07399 590405. Thanks all – play well!
